Snapchat is now being ranked ahead of Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, when it comes to the most preferred social media platform amongst certain influential age groups.
Research from MediaScience show that Snapchat ads got twice the visual attention of Facebook and 1.5 times more than Instagram. Even Youtube got beaten, with Snapchat being 1.3 times more effective. Comparing to other social media platforms and TV, Snapchat’s ads generated a higher degree of emotional response and twice as much intent to purchase.
